Here's what William and Eclectic announcers can provide at your event:

Pre-race:

• Provide pre-race announcements - registration location, packet pick-up, toilet location, bib number and/or chip placement, event's benefit, sponsors, course logistics, aid station points, where results will be posted, etc.
• Provide pre-race fun, festive music.
• Direct participants to their respective wave and/or starting position.
• Start the race with a horn, pistol or verbal command.
• Mention course records and race tradition tidbits.
• Announce information regarding other events in the future.

During the race at the finish line:

• Make announcements for race management personnel - finish line workers, refreshment providers, medical staff, etc.
• Provide fun, festive music.
• Announce names of runners as they finish, including times and places when possible.
• Continue to announce the race's benefit and sponsors.
• Announce any course and age-group records broken during the event.
• Announce details for the awards ceremony - when and where.
• Announce where results will be posted - at the event and on-line.

At the awards ceremony:

• Thank sponsors, volunteers and remind of event's benefit.
• Assist in distributing awards - announce overall and age-group award winner's name, place and time, noting any records broken.
• Announce information regarding other events in the future.
• Remind runners of where results will be available on-line.

• He's competed in over 800 running and multi-sport races, including 23 marathon and ultra-marathon events.
• Coached high school track and cross country for 16 years, guiding 4 state champion teams, earning 3 state and 9 league coach-of-the-year honors.
